EIC Service Catalogue Highlights: matchmaking services to connect you with the right players from the innovation ecosystem

It’s time for a new selection of the services from the EIC Service Catalogue, the platform that allows EIC beneficiaries to find services to cover their unique needs. This month, we’re introducing you to a set of services designed to help you connect to relevant European players and engage with business networks that can provide technical, financial or strategic support.
 
Financial support for EIC innovators looking to apply for the paid services hosted on the platform is also available through an open call under the EIC ACCESS+ initiative
 
Discover our selection of matchmaking services

 

1. Access to EU Research Infrastructure and Innovation Ecosystem Support by NewSkin
For: EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

This matchmaking service will be provided by in-house experts and aim to reduce the cost and investment risks, as well as accelerate the time to market for. Throughout three sessions, the experts will understand the needs and challenges that EIC beneficiaries find on their route to market, connect them with relevant EU Research Infrastructures and Innovation Ecosystem stakeholders.

 

2. Support for test bed and use case setup by INOVA+
For: EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

This tailored service targets start-ups interested in testing solutions under real-world conditions, including various territories. Start-ups will gain access to collaborative environments to validate their solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer expectations. The service offering is structured around three main pillars: Market Research, Business Validation, and Networking, with each one encompassing different activities.

 

3. Matchmaking with experts, partners and investors by Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF)
For: EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

USF offers a one to three month long targeted matchmaking programme, propelling all EIC beneficiaries to market prominence. They seamlessly connect participants with industry leaders, angel investors, venture fund representatives, and corporate influencers, cultivating networks, feedback, and investment avenues. The service unfolds in two key phases, starting with the needs assessment phase and progressing to an implementation phase of curated matchmaking events.

 

4. Partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders target events by AELSTONE
For: EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

This service aims to provide networking support to EIC beneficiaries in their innovation deployment across multiple sectors and regions. The activities include business ramp-up and continuity support, through needs assessment, matchmaking and facilitation of partnerships, as well as growth partnership identification, which can encompass market research and business development support.

 

5. Strategic matchmaking by Global Medical Solutions
For: EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

Global Medical Solutions leverages its prestigious network, including top-tier industry players and key market influencers, to connect innovators with the right partners and investors. After a personalised matchmaking process to connect innovators with partners and investors who share their division and can provide essential support, the EIC Partner actively fosters these collaborations by providing ongoing support to ensure partnerships thrive and deliver meaningful results. 

 

About the EIC Service Catalogue

The EIC Service Catalogue gathers a vast number of support services, from fundraising to acceleration, matchmaking, and even niche services such as intellectual property and legal support, infrastructure provision and many others. These services are tailored to EIC beneficiaries and Seal of Excellence holders and provided by the group of innovation ecosystem organisations known as EIC Partners.

Can EIC beneficiaries receive financial support to cover the costs of the paid offers on the EIC Service Catalogue? 

EIC innovators can apply for financial support to access the paid services on the EIC Service Catalogue through an open call powered by the EIC ACCESS+ initiative.  

This call offers up to EUR 60 000 in grants, covering up to 50% of the costs to access specialised services available through the platform. This opportunity is available for EIC beneficiaries or Seal of Excellence holders under the Horizon Europe program.

The EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme

The EIC Service Catalogue is brought to you by the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme, part of the EIC Business Acceleration Services. This programme is creating a network of partner organisations to address one of the greatest challenges for EIC innovators: accessing specialised sector-focused services. By forging new strategic partnerships with key actors such as business accelerators, incubators, research and training organisations, the EIC helps its beneficiaries access their resources, facilities and expertise so that no individual need is left unaddressed.
